Drone over an alpine ridge at golden hour

A geospatial intelligence company.

Any source, one map.

TerrainEval brings aerial, ground, and historical sensor data into one platform, with analytics fit for your operation. Deployed use cases include wildfire mitigation, infrastructure monitoring, and unmanned vehicle command and control.

The problem

The whole picture never lives in one place.

The data that tells you what is happening, aerial imagery, sensor feeds, survey files, and asset records, often live across different tools, formats, and teams. Pulling it together by hand is slow, partial, and out of date the moment it is finished. Decisions get made on a fraction of what is actually known.

TerrainEval pulls those sources into one geospatial platform so that nothing ends up lost. The result is an integrated map of your operations, automatically updating as things change, to enable confident field work in the most demanding conditions.

Why use our platform

Software tailored for your operations.

Our platform is built, maintained, and configured to your operational demands. Your data sources, the analysis you need, and the interface your team will use all in one place. Whether the problem is understanding a landscape, keeping track of assets spread over many sites, or a data stream only you understand, we shape the workflows around it. We define the deliverables you need upfront. You get a trusted and robust platform with secure data management and a purpose built interface.

Proven across domains

A geospatial platform built for the living world.

Energy & Infrastructure

Every data source on one map

For operators managing distributed infrastructure, we pull scattered survey, sensor, and asset data into a single geospatial platform, so the whole network can be seen, measured, and planned from anywhere.

Multiple data sources integrated on a single map
Wildfire mitigation

See the fuels before a fire starts

Map wildfire surface and ladder fuels in 3D to identify the areas that need clearing. Turn it into a mitigation quote and a risk story a customer can act on. Our computer vision algorithms were built with a wildfire subject matter expert to embed actionable insights.

Wildfire fuel and canopy structure mapped from the air
Real-time edge awareness

Control the edge from the cloud

Our software commands unmanned vehicles (UGV, UAS) from the cloud, with route finding and real-time sensor fusion at the edge. We have ready-to-use integrations with MavLink and ATAK.

Command and control of robotic platforms from the cloud
Fit for any field operation

Built around your problem

If your operation generates geospatial or sensor data, we tune the platform to it. Tell us the how the data impacts your operations and we will design the deployment.

Custom geospatial platform tailored to your operation

Our capabilities

Know your operational landscape.

TerrainEval puts your whole operating environment in one place: terrain, assets, imagery, and current conditions, pulled together from across your sources. Access it from anywhere, the field or the office, to work collaboratively from an identical real-time site picture.

Any sensor, data source, or stream

Aerial imagery, live video, LiDAR, RADAR, GNSS, any geospatial sensor, in one interactive environment. We create the map to align source data.

Computer vision and AI analytics

Detection, classification, and change models that assess the source data to surface what matters, tuned to your domain.

Interpretable data products

Orthomosaics, terrain profiles, 3D models, cut/fill tools, measurements, annotations, and AI derived layers. Delivered in the format you need.

Autonomous workflows

Pipelines automatically process new data as it arrives, so the map stays current across all users without intervention.

Edge processing

Our system runs on compute in the field, fixed site or onboard vehicles. Map creation and geospatial intelligence at the edge. We support low-bandwidth networks and relays to the cloud.

Cloud-based, available anywhere

Hosted access from any device allows distributed teams to work from the same live picture as those in the office.

3D immersive viewer

Remote sites, viewable in three dimensions, with source and derived data in the same interactive viewer, alongside deliverables.

Measurement and elevation export from a single dataset
Get more from your data

Customizable annotation and measurement tooling. Reports are auto-generated and exportable to share results across all teams.

How We Work

First call to your geospatial platform.

01

Scope the problem

Start with a call to understand your operations and what you need to see: patterns across a landscape, assets across many sites, a proprietary data stream, or an autonomous workflow.

02

Plan the deployment

Your objective guides the deployment plan. It covers the data sources we bring in, the analysis workflows to run, and the visualizations that reach your team. You see what we will build before we begin.

03

Pull the data in

We ingest what matters, whether aerial capture, sensor feeds, or your proprietary streams. All data sources fused in the same platform while you stay focused on your operation.

04

Deliver and tune

You get a collaborative map to support your operation. Clear and interpretable results tuned and delivered for how your team actually works.

What We Bring

From inputs to insights.

TerrainEval delivers a geospatial intelligence platform that is configured to your operation. It captures time-synchronized, georeferenced data across many sensors, turns it into 3D maps and measurements, and runs custom AI models and analysis on top. We customize the ingest, the data models, and the interface to the problem you are solving. When needed, we integrate it with the platforms and systems you already run.

About TerrainEval

Who you are working with.

TerrainEval was founded to make sense of data in the field. Technology can perform well in a controlled setting and then struggle when operating environments get real. Our perspective grew from building and deploying software into critical operations around the world. We think that the hard part is rarely the algorithms behind a system; rather it is the contact with real-world data: ingesting it, trusting it, and turning it into something a team can act on. We know trust in technology is gained in the field, when it proves itself useful.
